Event Logistics

Cleanliness
From maintaining the cleanliness level of the space for a simple appetizer party to providing five-star formal dinner service, they are knowledgeable of every task at hand.

Bar Supplies and Equipment
They arrive fully prepared with all the supplies needed to operate the bar, including shakers, strainers, bottle openers, wine key, bottle pourers, cutting board and knife, ice scoop, and bar towels.  Please inform us if margaritas or other specialty drinks are on the menu so we may can bring the appropriate equipment.

Food Preparation
We provide food preparation from start to finish.  Kitchen equipment will be  provided along with the facilitating venue facility.  If your party requires special equipment, we can arrange for this to be brought in.

Clean Up
We help with everything from washing dishes, heating food, and cleaning up until your kitchen is cleaner than we found it!

Areas We Serve
Serving all of Hamilton Ontario, Burlington, Stoney Creek and surrounding area communities.

A five hour minimum on site, including setup and breakdown is required by Gold Star Catering.  Depending on the style and size of the event, we usually arrive an hour to an hour and a half in advance to set up, and most events require about a half hour of cleanup at the conclusion.  Rates for bookings of less than five hours can be negotiated by calling our office.  There may be times we request to arrive first thing in the morning.

Payment Methods
We accept cash and/or certified cheque.  All services require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 10 days prior to the event.

Gratuity Policy
We feel that tipping is never necessary, never expected, but always appreciated.

Other Charges That May Apply
Travel charges – A small additional fee may apply to accommodate the staff for long distance travel.  This rate is a flat fee determined by mileage.

Parking – If there is no free parking available for the staff, we may require payment for this as well.

TaxTax is added to the invoice total, per current Ontario HST rates.
